Experience an unforgettable evening celebrating the power, history, and living legacy of the blues.

The night begins with a screening of Bonnie Blue, James Cotton’s Life in the Blues, an award-winning documentary honoring the extraordinary life of Grammy-winning harmonica master James Cotton—a towering figure who helped shape modern electric blues alongside legends like Muddy Waters, Howlin’ Wolf, and B.B. King. Through rare footage, performances, and personal stories, the film traces Cotton’s journey from the Mississippi Delta to international acclaim, capturing the soul and spirit of the blues tradition.

Following the film, the music comes alive on stage with a live concert by legendary blues artist James Montgomery.

A powerhouse performer and one of the great blues harmonica players of our time, Montgomery has shared stages with artists including Bruce Springsteen, Bonnie Raitt, and Steven Tyler. Known for his electrifying stage presence and deep connection to the roots of American blues, Montgomery carries forward the very tradition celebrated in the film—transforming history into a thrilling live experience.

This special event brings together story and song, legacy and live performance—a rare opportunity to witness the blues not only on screen, but roaring to life in concert.
